Residential & Day Services
An activity suitable for:
- The elderly in care homes
- Active Living groups
- Clients with physical or mental health problems or learning difficulties, either in residential homes or day services
- Students in PRU's or Young Offenders Institutions.
Organic Rhythm has experience of working with all these client groups and will tailor your sessions to suit the individuals taking part.
Sharon is recently back from Florida in the USA where she spent a week job shadowing Jana Broder from Drum Magic facilitating drum circles in elderly residential care homes, mental health institutions and with groups of locked up youth. Drumming activities are more common place there and are used regularly for the benefits outlined below. This experience has enhanced Sharon's learning, skills and experience to take forward with groups here.
