No Limits Drumming Project.

We'll be resuming soon.  Suitable for those with learning difficulties these drumming workshops are inclusive, fun and sociable.  The music's not bad either.  We use lots of different drums and percussion instruments, as well as songs and rhythms games so that there is something for everyone regardless of ability or mobility.

We will be starting again soon, watch this space for further details!

Organic Rhythm is proud to be supported by D.O.T.S Disablity and Dorset County Council to offer a weekly day time activity in the Sherborne area of Dorset. This is a new community based project aimed at disabled people under the age of 65  who are in reciept of Direct Payments or Personal budgets, however all are welcome. Using hand drums and percussion instruments the No Limits Drumming Project offers participants a morning of inclusive, accessible, relaxing and therapeutic activities.

 

 

Suitable for all, regardless of ability, age or experience.

No Limits Drumming Project also offers a friendly and relaxed space for social interaction, to ease isolation and to have fun! Refreshments will be served too!   • African Drumming classes on Mondays  evenings for ladies in Yeovil starting January 2011.
  • No Limits Drumming Project starts March 2011 in Sherborne and Dorchester - aimed at people in receipt of direct payments or personal budgets.
  • Therapeutic Drumming sessions available for residential homes, care homes, hospitals, day centres and active living groups. Sharon is a Health Rhythms Trained Facilitator- see www.healthrhythms.com for scientific evidence of how drumming can improve physical and mental health.
  • Empowerment Drumming Programme for schools, young offenders institutions, colleges and PRU's - ideal for raising self esteem, confidence and developing social and leadership skills.
  • School Drumming Clubs - for Primary Schools:  Using drums from around the world - fun and educational for pupils and can assist schools to gain to Arts Mark Award and International Schools Award.
  • BABY BONGO drumming sessions - aimed at pre-schoolers and their parents/carers using drums and percussion from around the world with lots of fun, songs and games. Starting in Sherborne during March 2011.
  • Team Building - dynamic, fun and effective drumming workshops available to unite and connect your team. Ideal for team meetings, conferences or away days.
